Time 3pm, Weather: Brief period of sunshine, then lightly overcast.
Rough count of visible birds: 40 Coot, 30 Little Grebe, 2 pairs of Ferruginous Duck, 1 drake Pochard, 8 Moorhens.
1 Red Darter sp. dragonfly seen.
Left: some of the Coot and just visible top right, drake Pochard, with a couple of terrapin in foreground.

Right: There were at least two Kingfishers present, this one fishing from a conveniently placed wire fence.
Other notable birds identified: Stonechat, Buzzard and Raven.
