6th: Lovely still and sunny morning, so decided to look for the Mediterranean Gulls often found between the two piers on Great Yarmouth Beach. We were in luck good number present mainly adults, so all photos below are of winter plumage adults.

15th: Just a short visit to Gapton Marshes around 3pm, was rewarded with views of hunting Kestrel, Barn Owl and immature peregrine. A Sparrowhawk had already succesfully hunted and was eating securely in the centre of a tree.
 

The Peregrine above cruised relatively low through the area making several dives one of which is seen below, as you can see dropping to reed top level.
